WHAT TO EXPECT
We will study Scripture, break strongholds, lay hands on wombs, share experiences, worship deeply, laugh, repent, build covenant friendships and lament together. Our gatherings are meant for mothers who are eager to learn the truth of the Gospel in a way that honors God and our children. Each retreat will include spirit-led prayer, opportunity for baptism and communion. We welcome open hearts ready to be forever changed and ignited by a touch of our Savior.
BEHIND THE MEANING
OF OUR NAME
In Exodus 3, Moses comes face to face with God, who appears as a bush that is ablaze but not consumed. It is here that Moses is instructed to remove his sandals as he stands on ground made holy by the presence of God. This divine encounter would forever alter the course of Moses’ life and the destiny of God's chosen people.
God chose this name for us with a purpose of taking ordinary conversations from common ground to holy ground.

-
Do you provide transportation?Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the retreat. We will share the attendee's contact information a few weeks prior to the retreat to help facilitate ride-sharing.
-
I'm not a Christian. Can I still attend?Absolutely. Holy Ground is a Christian nonprofit, and while our retreats are firmly grounded in biblical teachings, we warmly welcome all mothers, regardless of their faith background.
-
Are mothers who have had an abortion welcome? Our retreats welcome every grieving mother, including those who’ve had medically induced abortions, under the conditions that she is repentant and in agreement that abortion is a sin. Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Because all have sinned, all are in need of repentance and forgiveness. We long to provide an environment for healing without condemnation. Holy Ground focuses on supporting mothers grieving pregnancy loss, stillbirth, and infant loss. As a pro-life Christian ministry, we are not solely dedicated to post-abortion loss. If you are in search of post-abortion grief support, send us a message, and we can help you get connected to some faith-based resources.
