Holy Ground offers biblically based retreats for bereaved mothers who have lost a child through pregnancy and infant loss. Our gatherings are an intimate place to find inner healing, honor our children, and be ignited in our faith. Each 3-night healing retreat is located in Wilmington, North Carolina.
WHAT TO EXPECT
A Christian community of women who have similar stories of losing a child. We will laugh, break bread, share experiences, study Scripture, build friendships, worship, and weep together. Our gatherings are meant for mothers who are eager to learn the truth of the Gospel in a way that honors God and our children. We welcome open hearts ready to encounter the presence of God.
BEHIND THE MEANING
OF OUR NAME
In Exodus 3, Moses comes face to face with God, who appears as a bush that is ablaze but not consumed. It is here that Moses is instructed to remove his sandals as he stands on ground made holy by the presence of God. This divine encounter would forever alter the course of Moses’ life and the destiny of God's chosen people.
God chose this name for us with a purpose of taking ordinary conversations from common ground to holy ground.
