Our daytime facility is located near downtown Asheville. Open to everyone, the center provides a place to "exhale," a sanctuary, a reading/resource room, and a gathering space for non-profit meetings and spirituality groups. Persons may visit to have a cup of tea and read or to light a candle and be in prayer. The Center is accessible to all, including the chair bound.
Gathering Area
Warm and inviting, this space exhibits the work of area artists. Artwork is rotated every two months. Relax with a cup of tea in the midst of beauty.
Resource Room
Offers books, periodicals, and audio and visual tapes for check-out on a wide variety of topics including:
- spirituality
- ecological issues
- women's studies
- faith perspectives
- social justice
- ritual resources
- children's books
- sacred writings
- poetry
- reference books

Our normal open hours are Monday - Thursday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Because there are sometimes groups meeting during these hours, it is helpful to call before you stop by. We close for a sabbatical during the month of July.
Holy Ground's space is available to groups for meetings and gatherings. Please call in advance to reserve space. Also note that there are no overnight facilities available.
