Envisioning Holy Ground
Trusting that everything is grounded in God, Holy Ground seeks to provide opportunities for persons to explore ways in which God is present in their lives. Through structured learning experiences, retreat opportunities, and times of worship, Holy Ground exists to empower all persons to live more justly and more fully in love with God, each other, the earth, and themselves. Holy Ground's life and work are shaped by feminist Christian practices of mutuality in relationships, valuing of diversity, recognizing our interdependency with all of creation, and affirming the inherent worth of each person and her/his experience. Though grounded in Christian traditions, Holy Ground appreciates and draws from the wisdom of other faiths, and welcomes conversation with and participation by people of all faith perspectives and experiences.
